Welcome to the New At SU May Blog Hop as we showcase the beautiful new 2022-2024 In Colors now available in the new 2022-2023 Annual Catalog. Our talented Design Team members will be sharing their wonderful projects and ideas to help inspire you.
It's so exciting to get to play with these beautiful new In Colors and I challenged myself to create a project using all 5 of these wonderful, vibrant colors. For this card, I chose to use the new Sweet Songbird Bundle, which is so cute and perfect for these fun colors. The windows were created using the Picture This Dies and I embossed the card front using the Merry Melody 3D Embossing Folder to add some texture to the design. I love how the 2022-2024 In Colors, especially with the stamped images using the Classic Stampin' Pads.

Scrap cardstock for birds and nest stamped with images from the Sweet Songbird stamp set
This card design is great for celebrating special occasions and I love the variety of sentiments available in the Sweet Songbirds stamp set. I loved creating the cute birds using Tahitian Tide for the main body and then stamping off once with Sweet Sorbet to color the belly of the birds. The beaks were colored with the Dark Daffodil Delight Stampin' Blend Marker to help them pop. I used Soft Suede ink to stamp the branches and the nest and used the Party Parakeet ink for the leaves. For the flowers, I used Sweet Sorbet and Orchid Oasis inks to add some color to the background. For the sentiment, I heat embossed the image with White embossing powder onto an Orchid Oasis sentiment label die cut with the Stylish Shapes Dies. I love that this label fit perfectly inside the center window of the card design. For a touch of bling, I added small Iridescent Rhinestones to the center so the flowers for a bit of sparkle. To add some dimension, I popped up the card front layer with Mini Stampin' Dimensionals and centered it onto the stamped Basic White layer. This cute card design is so cheerful and is sure to brighten someone's day.
