Share It Sunday Blog Hop - Watercolor Wash with Color & Contour Stamps

Happy Sunday Crafty Friends!!!  Time for the monthly Share it Sunday Blog Hop.  Today I am sharing my Watercolor Pencil Watercolor Wash card using the lovely Color & Contour Stamps and Scalloped Countours Dies.  A watercolor wash can be used in many ways, you could use it for a background, accent strip, tag, label or stamp & die cut as I did with this card. 


Card Details
  • Paper 
    • Basic Black card base - 11" x 4 1/4", score and fold at 5 1/2"
    • Polished Pink cardstock - 3 1/2" x 4 3/4' for diecut Scalloped Contour rectangle
    • Basic Black cardstock - 2 1/2"  x 3 3/4" for diecut Scalloped Contour rectangle
    • Fluid 100 Watercolor Paper - 3 1/2" x 5" for watercolor wash 
  • Ink - Memento Tuxedo Black 
  • Other Stuff 
    • Watercolor Pencils Assortment 2
    • Glossy Dots Assortment 
    • Layering Circle Dies for sentiment
    • Water Painter 

The watercolor washed background after it was stamped and die cut.

Here's a tip for you:
  • Watercolor paper is thick, rough and tends to be difficult to produce a solid stamped image.
