Peace to You Card Idea

I was immediately drawn to Peace to You stamp set in the Holiday Catalog (aka July-December Stampin' Up! Catalog), and I love working with it. You can see another card I designed with it here featuring the church scene. For today's Peace to You card idea, I used the Holy Family stamp and went totally outside my Christmas card comfort zone!

I normally use mostly traditional colors, although you wouldn't know it by my other Stampin' Up! Peace to You card idea. Maybe the traditional images of this stamp set beg for non-traditional colors???!! I'm not sure, but I do love this stamp set!

Various shades of blue bring a peaceful vibe to my Stampin' Up! Peace to You Christmas card. Tahitian Tide, new In Color, is the star of the show!
Pops of bright yellow, achieved through the yellow star (colored with Dark Daffodil Delight Stampin' Blends Marker) and yellow oval, help to bring the blues into focus.
Just a touch of shine comes through the Snowflake Specialty Vellum Paper and Fine Sparkle Adhesive-Backed Gems.
