Hello!
The Crafty Collaborations team is comprised of Stampin’ Up! demonstrators from around the world. Each month, we participate in several collaborative projects including blog hops, like this one, to inspire all of us in our passion for crafting. Our goal is to create, share, and inspire every crafter to keep our creative energy flowing.
This month we are featuring Watercolouring Techniques. I imagine you will see oodles of watercolouring inspiration as Stampin’ Up! celebrates watercolouring this month
I chose the bold Crushed Curry yellow since it is one of the coordinating colours from the He’s The Man Suite. Y’all may not know that yellow is not my go-to colour.
This is a simple watercolouring technique. Brush your paper with water, then stamp your image. The ink will run and make a lovely background. (Let dry completely before adhering it to the next layer.)
Have you noticed the reverse tweezers in the Embossing Additions Tool Kit? I find them very helpful to hold the twine while tying a bow. And yes, I find that my bows are a bit better when I tie them upside down.)
Let’s see what everyone else created today!
