I have been using ink pads to water colour in this Thank You card.
I an sharing this project for this month’s Share It Sunday blog hop. This is an anything goes blog hop, where we share something we are currently working on.
I have been using these Apple harvest stamps and dies fro a few things recently.
Using Ink Pads to Water Colour
This bundle consists of a Cling mount stamp set which features in the July-Decembe mini catalogue. The coordinating dies are part of a promotion that is running during October and will only be available until the end of this month.
A Thank You Card
This card had a Granny Apple card base and a tone on tone stamped Real Red layer.
The apple image was stamped onto shimmery white card stock that had been die cut with a stitched rectangle.
The image was then painted with water painters and ink. Real Red and Granny Apple Green for the apple skin and leaves, Soft Suede for the branch and a touch of So Saffron for the cut apple. So Saffron was also used for the centres of the apple blossom and a touch of Blushing Bride on the edges. Some sky was then painted in using Balmy Blue ink. After stamping the sentiment, the coloured mat was added to a scalloped rectangle before being added to the card base with dimensionals.
Some more blossom was die cut from shimmery white card and leaves from Granny Apple Green card. After adding some pink and yellow highlights to the blossom, they were added to the corners of the stitched rectangle.
