Today I am sharing a monochrome card in blue using Stampin’ Up’s new Fitting Florets collection
In this hop you will see lots of ideas for using the new collection from Stampin’ Up!
The collection includes the Framed Florets that will be featuring in the Mini Catalogue that launches in January and also some exclusive Designer Series paper, a Christmas Sentiment stamp set and some swirly gold embellishments. This last items will be available until the end of the year, or while stocks last.
Monochrome Card in Blue
For my card, I picked out one of the pretty papers from the Designer Series Paper pack. I cut an aperture in it using one of the oval dies. This die gives a border of hearts all around the die cut oval. Using another of the ovals I cut it twice, once in White and once in Balmy Blue. I used the blue outer piece for my card and the white centre piece. The sentiment was stamped on the white oval with Balmy Blue ink.
I layered these oval pieces and Designer Series paper onto a Basic White card stock mat and a Balmy Blue card base.
I stamped the small arrangement of flowers and the single flower onto some Basic White card stock with Memento ink. They were then coloured in with Balmy Blue Stampin’ Blends. Both of these images have coordinating dies to cut them out. I also die cut some Basic White foliage. These flower and foliage pieces were added to the card front along with a bow of white Baker’s Twine.
The front of the card was finished with some blue Fine Sparkle Adhesive Gems.
