I have chosen to make an 8 x 6 layout today ~ I am continuing to build up my ‘small’ scrapbook, and have done a double page layout for this months hop. I think the smaller size is just a little different ~ not everyone is into the larger pages and a smaller one is just a bit more manageable.

While our hop is in February when valentine day is foremost in our mind I thought that LOVE can be for engagement, wedding, anniversary, children, grandchildren, nieces and nephews or simply anything that you love.

My colors are inspired by the Country Lane Floral decorative paper, Balmy Blue, Mint Macaron and just a ‘smidge’ of Petal Pink. The photo panels to the right are 4 1/2 x 3 1/2 and the decorative paper strip is 8 x 2.

The left hand page has a ‘pull-out’ piece allowing room for more photos and a couple of journaling panels. This piece measures 11 x 4 1/4 and was scored @ 4 1/2 and 7 1/4. The decorative paper strip is 6 x 2.

The Country Bouquet Stamp Set with coordinating punch was perfect for the design, along with a scattering of Pastel Adhesive Backed Sequins

I know not everyone is into scrapbooking – the various elements on this page can be used to make a very pretty engagement, wedding or anniversary card – watch this space over the next few days I will share what I came up with!
